“On your tombstone there’s the date you’re born and the date you died. The FatDash is the life you live in between!”.
Follow Lisa and I as we live the FatDash. We have prepared FatDash for the journey of our life, sailing and living the cruising lifestyle. I started this dream about 2002 and Lisa joined me in the dream in 2008. In 2012 Lisa and I purchased the Stage II, soon to be renamed FatDash. When we bought the boat it was in a slip at Glen Cove Marina in Vallejo California. It’s next home for almost exactly one year was Napa Marina and Boat Yard in Napa California. There it was completely refitted. Many of the problems identified in the survey that was done when we bought it were completed. Then it was on to Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in Richmond California. Here we finished the rest of the projects and started getting comfortable sailing FatDash around the San Francisco Bay. On July 29th 2015 we cut the dock lines, sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge and turned left. Now we call La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico home but the adventure will not be stopping here.
Follow us and maybe you too will be inspired to live your FatDash.
