Well we survived the night. Got up 3 times to check out strange noises on deck. Nothing found. Next morning we had breakfast and coffee then called the free water taxi that comes with the cost of the mooring ball. Went to the office and paid the $25 per night for the spot of water and went into town to check it out.

Capitola  is a nice little beach town. We walked down the dock that the office is on and by the beach. Lots of people getting a nice fog tan. Looking for a place to eat lunch most places are reasonable unless you are right on the water. Paid $6 for a sandwich and free water. We spent a couple of hours roaming around and looking in the little shops.

Coming back to the boat I connected the WiFi to the place we had lunch that advertised “free WiFi” and this has allowed us to update our computer.

One thing we do daily is get the weather, e-mail and any chart updates that have come out. Also I run a backup program the uploads any changed files to my account in the cloud, all encrypted of course.

As for Lisa she disassembled some old jewelry that she had and reassembled it into 2 bracelets.DSCN3335

Tomorrow we are off to Monterey. I am looking forward to going there as we have both been there before.
