_MG_0912_MG_0920It was another beautiful day with turtles and rays all around the boat. I was still not happy with our location so we hauled up the anchor and moved between Double D and Dazzler. This allowed me to put out more scope and use all of the bridle.

_MG_0935_MG_0930Later we had grebes bathing in the water just off our side. Also about the same time there appeared a strange bird above our boat. It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s Dave’s drone taking more pictures. Glad we are dressed.

_MG_0942_MG_0956Double D brought over their 2 paddle boards as our outboard wasn’t working. We took the paddle boards out to the shore. This anchorage is inside the eroded volcano crater. At some point thousands of years ago there was molten lava coming out of the ground right where we are now floating in crystal clear turquoise water.

Later we had Double D over for drinks and dinner. Lisa fixed pulled pork barbeque sandwiches on home made rolls and Lori made homemade coleslaw. One thing out here is all the meals are made from scratch.
