When we returned from our trip down the Baja to La Paz to visit friends we stayed at Viejas Casino and Resort for one night so we would be close to where we had parked our 5th wheel at Ma-Tar-Awa RV Park. This was the nicest place we stayed at on our trip down and up the Baja. The room was very comfortable and the hotel and casino were clean and smoke free.
If you stay here be sure to get a players club card. All the prices at the restaurants are full price but the card gives you a 20% discount. Also if you are in the military or a veteran you get an additional 10%. Their buffet is outstanding and I can not think of anything they could add and the buffet includes unlimited beer, wine and champagne.
So if you are looking for a place to stay close to the San Diego area I recommend Viejas Casino and Resort.
